This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information in connection with our Recruitment Services and Consulting Services (collectively, “Services”) through our website (“Site”), as well as our social media pages, and HTML-formatted email messages we send to you that link to this Policy (collectively, “Online Systems”).

FT Global collects Personal Information to provide Services to you and our clients, and to operate our business. The type of Personal Information we collect about you depends on the situation at hand.

To perform our Services, we may collect the follow types of information about you as a potential candidate: name, address, telephone number, email address, resume information (employment history, education, professional credentials, skills, etc.), citizenship, information from former employers and other references, and additional information to the extent we have acquired, or you have provided us with such information. We may also use photos of you that you provide to us or that you make publicly available on the internet.

As permitted by applicable laws, we may obtain background verification information, as well as compensation and benefits information.

In certain cases, we may request sensitive Personal Information about you. We may use this information to ensure that our Services conform with legal requirements, including equal opportunity laws. Except in these limited cases, we encourage you not to provide any other sensitive Personal Information to us, such as government identification numbers, payment card numbers, information related to racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or other beliefs, health, biometrics or genetic characteristics, criminal background, or trade union membership.

 

How We Collect Personal Information

We may collect Personal Information directly from you when you submit a resume through the Site, or contact us via e-mail, telephone, postal mail, or through third party services (e.g., LinkedIn). To enhance and/or update any information provided by you, we may combine it with Personal Information collected from third party sources.

Any personal information that you provide to third party services will be subject to the third party’s privacy policy, rather than this Policy. FT Global does not control, and is not responsible for, the third party’s use of information collected.

 

If you provide any Personal Information about other people to us, you represent that you have the authority to do so and to permit us to use the information in accordance with this Policy.

How We Use the Personal Information We Collect

FT Global uses your Personal Information to provide our Services to you and our clients. We do this to fulfill our contractual relationships with you and our clients and where we have a legitimate, beneficial interest in using Personal Information to conduct our business.

To perform our Services, we may use Personal Information that we have collected to solicit names of, or additional Personal Information regarding, potential candidates in connection with the delivery of our Services. We may also use Personal Information to:

  • respond to your inquiries,

  • confirm and contact references, and

  • conduct education and background checks as appropriate.

 

We may also use your name and other personal identifiers to associate and combine information about you that is collected from the Site or Online Systems with information about you collected from a third party.

  • To perform our Services, including sharing Personal Information with clients to allow for participation the recruitment process, contacting you about professional opportunities, or for business development purposes.

  • For business operations, including sharing Personal Information with third parties we have contracted with to support cloud storage and retrieval, encrypted communications, and database management.

  • In the event of new ownership.

How Long We Keep Your Personal Information

We retain your Personal Information for the duration of your business relationship with us, and we hold your information only as long as necessary for each purpose we use it, unless we have obtained your consent to use it for another or similar purpose.

Data Storage and Security

Your Personal Information is securely stored using third party cloud services whom FT Global has contracted with to support our business operations. These third parties do not have access to or permission to use your Personal Information other than for cloud storage and retrieval.

FT Global requires contracted third parties to employ technical and organizational security measures to protect your Personal Information from loss, misuse, unauthorized use, access, inadvertent disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Policy for Children

FT Global does not knowingly solicit information from or market to individuals under the age of 16, and we request that these individuals do not provide their personal information through this Site. This Site may include links to third party websites maintained by clients, business partners, service providers, or other third parties. The inclusion of a link to a third party does not imply our endorsement of the linked site. As stated above, we are not responsible for the collection, usage, and disclosure policies and practices (including the data security practices) of other organizations, such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Apple, Google, Microsoft or any other app developer, app provider, social media platform provider, operating system provider, wireless service provider or device manufacturer, including any Personal Information you disclose to other organizations.
