FRED THOMPSON

President

Mr. Fred Thompson is the President of FT Global Executive Search. He was previously Executive Vice President at DHR International, where he led the Global Advanced Technology Practice and managed the firm's Silicon Valley Office. Prior to joining DHR, he was the Office Managing Director in Korn/Ferry International's Denver office and a Senior Client Partner in the firm's Silicon Valley office.

Before his career in executive search, Mr. Thompson spent over 24 years in senior and executive management roles with renowned software and telecommunications organizations.  His professional experience includes roles in business development, marketing, product management, and software development. He held leadership roles at New Era of Networks (NEON), Informix Software, Sybase, Siemens - ROLM, Sun Microsystems and AT&T Bell Laboratories (Lucent Technologies).

Mr. Thompson holds a Masters in computer science from the University of Southern California and completed his undergraduate studies at Alabama A&M University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

LISA STRINGO

Senior Associate

Ms. Lisa Stringo is responsible for research and candidate development. Previously she was a Senior Associate in the DHR International Silicon Valley Office. At DHR she executed senior level searches across the technology sector. Prior to DHR, Ms. Stringo was a Senior Recruiter / Project Manager for Futurestep, a subsidiary of Korn/Ferry International. At Futurestep, Ms. Stringo led several major large-scale middle-management recruitment projects.

Previously, Ms. Stringo was a Senior Recruiter for Claria, a boutique executive search firm in Silicon Valley. She began her career in search as an in-house corporate recruiter at EDS.

Ms. Stringo holds and Associate of Arts degree from Mission College and completed coursework towards a Bachelor's degree at San Jose State University.
